A tractor-trailer driven by a truck driver for Whole Foods Market Group jackknifed, rolled and collided with a Chippewa Falls school bus, killing 5 and injuring 29. The accident occurred near Osseo, Wisconsin.
At the time of the accident, the driver, 22-year old Michael Koslowski, had a suspended license for failure to pay the fine on a recent speeding ticket. Whole Foods representative Kate Lowery defended the company, saying Koslowski was not driving for the company at the time. Furthermore, she called ht driver’s suspension an “administrative glitch.”
